Description
Dee Sanada originated as D, a humanoid alien survivor from a colony that crashed on Earth millennia ago while fleeing the malevolent Kumu and the robot Himiko. Her society fractured into factions, triggering a civil war where she became the sole survivor after stealing the Core Robot Zinv and entering suspended animation.

Discovered by the Earth Defense Force within an alien artifact, her original body sustained damage, necessitating transfers into successive bioroid bodies. The fourth model stabilized her astral essence within the left eye socket, leading her to adopt "D" as her name. During a conflict across parallel worlds, she piloted Zinv mechanically while displaying minimal emotion and frequently questioning human behavior. She forged a unique bond with Kazuki Yotsuga, whose influence spurred her to overcome her fear of Himiko and sacrifice her bioroid form to save him.

This act revealed her preserved biological body inside Zinv. Removing Zinv's limiter unleashed its full power, manifesting Light Hawk Wings that defeated the threat. Zinv's destruction halted the dimensional collapse and merged the worlds, after which she emerged as Dee Sanada. Adopted by Ken Sanada and Akane Yamano, she adopted a cheerful, energetic persona contrasting her prior stoicism and fully integrated into human society.

In the Tenchi Muyo! GXP continuity billions of years later, her astral pattern resurfaced within Zinv's AI on a resource-depleted Earth. Revived by Seina Yamada, she was transferred into a bio-enhanced clone of the cabbit Fuku, gaining hybrid abilities to control the Kamidake II spaceship. Noting Seina's resemblance to Kazuki—later confirmed as his reincarnation—she joined his crew and became one of his wives alongside other cabbit-humanoid hybrids.

Her later existence exhibits unexplained inconsistencies, including emulating her earlier emotionless demeanor and glowing eye appearance despite her evolution into Dee Sanada, with creator Masaki Kajishima citing an undisclosed reason for this regression. She shares physical similarities with Neju Na Melmas and War on Geminar's Doll, suggesting potential racial links or multiversal counterparts. Curry remains her preferred food.
