Description
Ikumi Kaidou is the final surviving Arma unit, genetically engineered clones of Mamoru Amami crafted to aid the Soldato Division. Designed to purify Zonder cores and dismantle the Z-Master program, these clones possess superior telekinetic abilities compared to their progenitor. After the mechanization of the Red Planet, the infant Arma journeyed to Earth aboard the J-Ark spacecraft. Adopted by an elderly woman called "Mother," he lived as an ordinary human named Ikumi Kaidou, concealing his extraterrestrial origins and powers during his early years.

He has blue hair, purple eyes, and distinctive long bangs obscuring his left eye. Typically clad in a white cloak over black attire, he wears the J-Jewel as a necklace. His reserved, taciturn personality stems from a belief that avoiding friendships spares others grief. This contrasts Mamoru Amami's outlook, though Kaidou remains deeply affected by his adoptive mother's memory. Before revealing his identity, he often stood silent with hands in pockets.

His telekinesis first manifested during EI-19 and Machine King Pizza attacks, though he masked these interventions. During EI-01’s Tokyo assault, he deliberately allowed himself to be blown from Tokyo Tower to fake his death. This facilitated his mission to purify the Machine Primevals Pizza and Pinchernone, restoring them as Soldato J-002 and Tomoro 0117. He later aided Soldato J against 31 Machine Primevals, confronting Intestine Primeval after it possessed his mother’s body. Believing his duty as a Warrior of Abel complete, he remained aboard the exploding King J-Der. The resulting energy surge propelled him and J beyond known space.

From there, he witnessed the universe contracting due to the 11 Planetary Masters of Sol. Returning to the solar system, he helped Mamoru Amami escape the Masters and traveled to Earth to thwart Repli-Mamoru’s attempt to reclaim the Pas-Q Machine. Defeated in a telekinetic battle, he recovered under Hana Hatsuno’s care. Later, he intervened to prevent Repli-Mamoru from betraying Guy Shishioh and supported GGG’s journey to the Trinary Solar System via the Galeorea Comet. On Repli-Earth, the 11 Planetary Masters captured him, linking him to Pia Decem PIT’s computer core and damaging its Generating Armor to inflict direct harm. He escaped after Pia Decem’s destruction and helped distract Palus Abel during the Goldion Crusher’s deployment. Post-conflict, he returned to Earth inside one of J-Ark’s ES Missiles, reuniting with his mother and attending GGG memorials.

Eight years later in *The King of Kings: GaoGaiGar VS Betterman*, he enlists in Gutsy Global Guard (GGG Blue) alongside Mamoru. Both train rigorously as test pilots and co-pilots for the mechanoid GaoGaiGo. His combat role demands deep synergy with Mamoru, functioning as the composed "Blue Oni" to Mamoru’s "Red Oni." He adopts a GGG uniform with a longcoat and red scarf reminiscent of Soldato J’s. His character evolves: he grows more expressive, addresses Mamoru by first name (previously "Amami"), and openly values Earthly bonds. He maintains closeness with his adoptive mother and navigates a subtle romantic connection with Alouette Pommier, though he struggles with her affections. He and Mamoru conceal a dark secret about the King of Ruin’s resemblance to Genesic GaoGaiGar, fearing implications for rescuing the original GGG team, revealing it only after neutralizing the threat.

His telekinesis counters Intestine Primeval’s black hole and purifies Zonderians—abilities Mamoru lacks. He issues freeze commands to J-Jewels, nullifying their power unless near a G-Stone. During the Sol Masters conflict, Pasder identifies him as a "bio-computer" and "destruction machine." In the manga, he demonstrates combat techniques like razor-sharp energy slashes and performs the "Hell and Heaven" attack with Mamoru while piloting GaoGaiGo.
