TV-Series
Description
Orphaned as an infant squirrel when his biological mother perished, Bana is adopted and raised by a farm cat. This feline upbringing fosters exceptional bravery and combativeness, setting him apart from squirrels who flee danger. He wears a small bell around his neck, a gift from his adoptive mother symbolizing their bond.

A farm fire separates Bana from the cat, forcing him into the forest to adapt to wild life. Initially distrusted by other squirrels for his unusual background and behavior, he earns acceptance through courageous acts: saving the young squirrel Clay from a fox and rescuing Clay's mother Lori from a farmer, establishing his heroic reputation.

Learning survival skills from the wild squirrels, particularly Sue, becomes crucial. Sue, drawn to his innocence and unique perspective, becomes his primary ally and aids his integration. Their relationship evolves into marriage and children by the series' end. His friendships extend to initially skeptical squirrels like Gocha and Radōru, who become loyal companions after he saves Radōru from a snapping turtle.

A recurring rivalry with Akācho, a cunning squirrel who also pursues Sue, creates conflict resolved through Bana's integrity and strength. An encounter with Uncle Owl, who initially intends to eat him, turns to mutual respect when Bana fights back. This relationship ends tragically as Uncle Owl dies protecting him from hunters.

Reuniting with his adoptive mother cat later provides emotional closure to his origin. Throughout his journey, his hybrid identity—combining feline resilience with emerging squirrel instincts—shapes his interactions and leadership within the forest community.
