Angoras served as Aquatic General of the Mycene Empire's Seven Armies, commanding forces specialized in underwater warfare and ambush tactics. His form fused a humanoid anglerfish appearance with ancient Mycene biomechanical engineering; his true face resided on antennae extending from a mechanical body, a result of the Empire's millennia-old adaptation where human brains were permanently interfaced with Battle Beast bodies for underground survival endurance.

In the original 1974 television series, Angoras spearheaded the Mycene Empire's surface reclamation campaign after Dr. Hell's defeat. His Aquatic Battle Beasts dominated oceanic regions, overwhelming Mazinger Z and securing early strategic advantages for the Empire under the leadership of the Great General of Darkness and the Emperor of Darkness. He battled Great Mazinger and Science Fortress Laboratory forces. His forces were among the first Mycene forces deployed against surface defenses, and he ultimately perished in these conflicts.

Angoras reappeared in the OVA *Mazinkaiser: Deathmatch! Ankoku Daishogun*, where he and General Scarabeth launched a joint assault on New York to eliminate Great Mazinger, a deployment underscoring Great Mazinger's perceived threat level. During the battle, Angoras taunted Tetsuya Tsurugi after the Great Typhoon attack seemed ineffective. However, this attack masked the trajectory of the returning Great Boomerang, which fatally struck Scarabeth before grievously wounding Angoras across his back and stomach. In his final moments, Angoras recognized the tactical deception – that the Great Typhoon diverted attention from the boomerang – just before Great Mazinger destroyed him with the Breast Burn.
