Orleana, the Campbellians' chief scientist, commanded their expeditionary force to Earth millennia before the main timeline. She transferred her consciousness into a specially built statue form before departing to locate a new habitable world for her species. Upon arrival, humans misinterpreted her presence, elevating her to the status of a goddess. This worship significantly delayed her primary mission. Orleana and her forces entered dormancy, only reactivating in the 21st century.

Upon awakening, she launched Earth's invasion, deploying Great General Garuda, an android commander she created. After Garuda suffered repeated defeats against the super-electromagnetic robot Combattler V, Orleana terminated his command. This dismissal coincided with Garuda discovering his true nature: he was the latest in a series of android constructs designed by Orleana to serve as her "perfect son" and invasion leader. Confronted by the vengeful Garuda, Orleana shed her statue shell, revealing a mechanical body. She attempted to drain Combattler V's energy using a 'Null Electromagnetic Ray' projected from her forehead. Before she succeeded, Garuda attacked her with the slave beast Big Garuda, destroying half of her head and killing her.
