Description
Jimmy Farmer, father of protagonist Temple, and his wife Marie hail from a prosperous family, furnishing Temple with a privileged and indulgent upbringing. Their wealth readily indulges her whims, such as acquiring a majorette outfit and baton during an outing, underscoring their attentiveness to her passions. The family shares a tight-knit bond, frequently gathering for home music sessions that unwittingly draw the curiosity of Fuwatto, a cloud boy, precipitating Temple’s accidental separation during a balloon excursion.

Though Temple’s journey drives the central narrative, Jimmy’s presence lingers through his physical absence in her adventures. His characterization radiates paternal warmth and a nurturing environment, though Temple’s sheltered upbringing and sporadic spoiled tendencies hint at a dynamic where her wishes take precedence.
