Este is a young Enterran character in the anime series, identified as Kutal's niece and the younger sister of twin Enterrans Rei and Sen. Este, Rei, and Sen are collectively nicknamed "the kittens" for their feline-like appearance and youthful traits.

She first appears in "Into the Jungle," carried by a large Pterodactyl alongside her brothers before being rescued by Kutal, Mushra, and Sago. Reuniting with Kutal, Este insists on staying with her family, declaring herself "everyone's favorite" while contrasting her inseparable twin brothers. The group considers it too dangerous for the kittens to join, prompting Mushra, Sago, and Kutal to create a "Test of Courage" through the jungle. During the test, Este falls into a river and retrieves a human doll, later gifting it to Yakumo. This act symbolically encourages Yakumo's quest to find remaining humans. After completing the test, Este and her brothers join the main group.

Throughout the journey, Este displays curiosity and occasional independence, straying from her brothers to explore—such as discovering a triceratops in an abandoned school. She exhibits protectiveness, forcing Mushra out when Yakumo needs solitude. In conflicts, Este observes battles from safety, often cheering for Mushrambo. During peril, like Yakumo being petrified and thrown into an acidic lake, Este assists Hakuba in her rescue alongside her brothers.

In the series' second arc, Este witnesses the final battle against Kadrian king Lanancuras from afar. Post-conflict, she aids in rebuilding the world with other Enterrans and humans. The series concludes with Este, her brothers, Kutal, Sago, and Binka deciding their next move. Echoing Yakumo's guidance, Este declares "To the West!" as the group sets out to search for Mushra.
