Description
Araiguma, known as Raccoon, operates as a loyal enforcer within the Ginzame yakuza clan, his stocky frame and rugged, casual clothing mirroring his hands-on role in the organization’s gritty underworld. Boisterous and impulsive, he thrives in chaos, yet his brashness often clashes with the clan’s calculated hierarchy.

Initially a low-ranking member, Araiguma provides comic relief through his earnest but clumsy attempts to ascend the ranks, volunteering for missions that outmatch his skills. Beneath his rowdy exterior lies unexpected vulnerability—a contrast to the Ginzame’s cold efficiency, positioning him as an unlikely counterpoint to their brutality.

As tensions surge with the rival Tanokura family, his unwavering loyalty faces strain. Interactions with figures like Rin Shirogane, a ruthless Ginzame antagonist, highlight his subservient role and tactical shortcomings. Yet fleeting moments of introspection surface—hesitation before violent acts, muted doubts about the clan’s cruelty—hinting at a deeper self-awareness he struggles to articulate.

His journey shifts from minor thug to reluctant key player in the escalating conflict. Survival instincts forge a shaky alliance with the protagonist, transforming their dynamic from hostile encounters to wary cooperation. Though pragmatism drives his choices, his core remains unaltered: impulsivity and fierce loyalty anchor him even as chaos engulfs the town.
