Description
Gregor von Mückenberger, a Fleet Admiral and Chief Commander of the Imperial Space Fleet during the Goldenbaum Dynasty's final years, oversaw strategically vital forces at Iserlohn Fortress. Born into Imperial military nobility, his father, Vice Admiral Wilhelm von Mückenberger, perished fighting Bruce Ashbey's Alliance forces at the Second Battle of Tiamat, having expressed a desire for his son to become an officer and seek vengeance. His mother, Wilhelmina, gave her name to his flagship.

Appointed Chief Space Fleet Commander by 794 UC, Mückenberger commanded Imperial forces in key engagements like the Battle of Van-Fleet, the Sixth Battle of Iserlohn, and the Third Battle of Tiamat. During the Fourth Battle of Tiamat, he deliberately placed Reinhard von Lohengramm's fleet in an exposed position as a diversion, expecting its destruction. Reinhard, however, survived and won decisively through unconventional tactics, straining their relationship as Reinhard viewed him as rigid.

Mückenberger's perception shifted after Reinhard's tactical brilliance at the Battle of Astarte in 796 UC, where even Alliance Admiral Merkatz was impressed. Later that year, after Iserlohn Fortress fell to Yang Wen-li, Mückenberger and fellow military chiefs Ehrenberg and Steinhof faced Kaiser Friedrich IV's displeasure, retaining their posts only due to Reinhard's intervention. This marked a turning point, leading Mückenberger to recognize Reinhard's strategic importance.

Following Kaiser Friedrich IV's death, Mückenberger chose retirement over involvement in the looming power struggle between Reinhard and the nobility. He rejected invitations from Duke Braunschweig and Marquis Littenheim to join their Lippstadt League. Departing, he warned the nobles against underestimating Reinhard, explicitly calling him a genius in warfare and politics. He peacefully transferred his fleet command to Reinhard, avoiding the violent retribution that befell other Goldenbaum loyalists during the Imperial Civil War.

Physically, he had brown hair and brown eyes. His flagship, the *Wilhelmina*, was a distinct, oversized battleship class vessel boasting twenty forward neutron beam cannons and four engines, later passing to Baron Flegel of the Lippstadt League.
