Description
Neoneros commands the global criminal syndicate Docouga, manipulating worldwide political, economic, and military systems from the shadows. His relentless pursuit centers on acquiring Professor Sanada's research into Beamler energy—a potent force drawn from a meteorite fragment originating in the Tunguska event. After the professor's suicide thwarts this goal, Neoneros fixates on exploiting the professor's son, Kenta Sanada, for his connection to the energy.
He directs three chief officers—Leonardo Medici Bundle, Yatta-la Kernagul, and Suegni Cuttnal—who deploy specialized forces and mechanized units against the protagonists aboard the teleporting fortress Good Thunder. Their frequent infighting, however, hinders efforts to counter the GoShogun robot. A pivotal betrayal occurs when these three officers defect and join the protagonists during the climax, critically undermining Neoneros's power.
Neoneros's existence stems directly from Beamler energy itself; he is its corrupted incarnation, sent to Earth as a destructive test of humanity's readiness for cosmic contact. He stands in stark opposition to Kenta Sanada, who embodies the energy's positive aspect and Earth's collective consciousness. Defeated in the final battle, Neoneros's influence vanishes as Kenta departs Earth with GoShogun.
This character does not feature in the sequel film *The Time Étranger*, set decades later and focused solely on former crew member Remy Shimada's psychological journey.
