TV-Series
Description
Noble serves as Maya's steadfast primary companion throughout her journey. Identified as a small blue sugar fairy, his diminutive stature and distinctive blue coloration are key traits. His entire physical composition is sugar, establishing a critical vulnerability: contact with water causes him to dissolve. This leads to multiple instances of apparent demise, such as falling into a lake. However, he consistently revives when his dissolved form washes ashore and dries under sunlight, restoring him completely. He also survives being swallowed whole by the villain Croven in fox form, escaping unharmed from the hostile environment.
Noble demonstrates shapeshifting abilities, notably transforming into a dragonfly form to aid travel and evasion during the quest. His role encompasses both guidance and comic relief, often expressing suspicion about seemingly benevolent characters encountered. For instance, he voices distrust towards a woman leading them to a castle, which later proves to be a trap set by Croven. His repeated dissolutions and resurrections form a recurring narrative element.
He accompanies Maya from their initial meeting in a sugar-themed landscape through numerous challenges, including confrontations with antagonists like Cassandra and Croven. He remains her ally as the group travels to the Land of the South, his presence persisting until the resolution of Maya's quest where the true nature of her trials is revealed.
