Description
The character known as Reversal King serves as the narrative's primary heroic figure. Publicly, he lives as Sokkyu Gou, a maintenance worker for the Time Lease corporation, while secretly operating as a hero. Abandoned in infancy and raised in an orphanage, Gou first discovered his innate psychic abilities there. These powers became the foundation for his heroic activities, which he performed by remotely controlling a Psychic Robot from an undersea laboratory.

He embodies a kind, caring, and altruistic nature, often dedicating his free time to assisting the orphanage of his youth and aiding citizens in distress. A notable trait of his public persona is an apparent obliviousness to romantic advances from colleagues, a contrast to the awareness of those around him.

His heroic identity is protected by a specialized rubber suit that redirects the force of impacts. His primary weapon is the "Rainball," a baseball-like projectile he psychically manipulates to alter its trajectory in mid-flight. This form also grants him brief flight and resistance to low-caliber weaponry, though it is less effective against larger mechanized opponents.

When confronting giant mechas, he uses a psychic link to combine his personal ship, the Dangan Head Unit, with a separate entity called the Tokkyu-Saurus. This fusion creates the powerful combat mecha Gyakuten-Oh, which typically resolves the conflict swiftly before the hero departs without explanation.

A pivotal development occurs when a rival enterprise nearly compromises his secret identity, using diamond-tipped ammunition to critically injure him and destroy the Psychic Robot. After recovering, he adopts a new, more durable enhanced suit and a different combining mecha, the Sankan-Oh, formed from a Dangan Booster Unit and a Tokkyu-Mammoth. This upgrade required a psychic link with a new managing director and introduced higher personal risk, as he now physically participates in combat.

His narrative arc centers on a conflict with a malicious alien entity that infiltrates his trust network. This adversary, an unwilling double agent, steals the Psychic Robot data and temporarily overwhelms the hero using a superior version of the technology. Gou ultimately prevails with assistance from allies, defeating the alien threat and freeing the compromised individual from its control.

In the aftermath, with one close associate's fate unresolved and the lead scientist resigned, he assumes a new role as Technical Director for the corporation's local branch, overseeing reconstruction efforts.

Beyond the primary narrative, the character appears in fighting game crossovers. His move set in these appearances includes projectile attacks, anti-air maneuvers, and the summoning of the Gyakuten-Oh mecha for a powerful assault, noting a dedication to refining his combat skills independent of technological enhancements.
