Description
Munmun leads the Northern Ostendel branch of Skull Lease and the Clean Aku trio. Ambitious yet insecure, she craves success to usurp her boss, Con Cordo, and conquer the world through Skull Lease. This insecurity fuels her volatile nature: she celebrates perceived victories intensely but spirals into frustration over setbacks. Though less physically abusive than peers, she verbally chastises disobedient subordinates and frequently withdraws to her office for stress relief or motivational exercises.
Her background includes Chinese heritage. A pivotal moment occurs when a mysterious man saves her from a subway accident, sparking an infatuation she later directs at Sokkyu Gou (Ippatsuman), identifying him as "Mr. X" by episode 25. This obsession peaks in episode 46 when she hosts a Snow White-themed Christmas party under Con Cordo's orders, attempting to recreate the prince's kiss with Gou. Unwittingly, the event becomes a trap set by her rival Tamashiro and Agent 000 to expose Gou as Ippatsuman. After the trap fails and a decoy appears as Ippatsuman, Munmun abandons her pursuit of Gou, believing their trust is fractured. She makes a final, unsuccessful attempt to reconnect when Gou appears to marry Haruka, later finding optimism upon learning the marriage was fake.
Within Clean Aku, Munmun clashes frequently with Kosuinen over strategy and work ethic but shares a relatively amicable rapport with Kyokanchin, despite his occasional siding with Kosuinen. She uniquely tolerates Min-Min, Con Cordo's granddaughter, treating her with sisterly affection while usually excluding her from strategic planning. Munmun harbors deep disdain for Tamashiro, president of the Western Ostendel branch, who openly mocks her failures.
Her story ends with Skull Lease's bankruptcy due to her branch's poor performance. Her final compensation is an advertisement for online dating services. Following this failure and the collapse of Con Cordo's alien conspiracy, Munmun departs Ostendel City by train to rebuild her life. Unbeknownst to her, Kosuinen and Kyokanchin are passengers on the same train.
