Description
Sago Jo, a 17-year-old student at Oshaka Academy in Kamakuland, is a descendant of Sha Wujing from the classical Chinese tale *Journey to the West* — the foundational narrative of Itadakiman. He belongs to the Tatemae Trio, a group of honor students that includes Houko Sanzo (descendant of Tang Sanzang) and Yatsuo Ino (descendant of Zhu Bajie).
Tall and handsome, Sago Jo engages in lengthy discussions but shows reluctance to take decisive action, often depending on his trio companions to drive their missions. His personality reflects a privileged and spoiled upbringing, with a notable susceptibility to the influence of beautiful women — a trait that occasionally emerges during assignments.
Within the Tatemae Trio, Sago Jo provides intellectual support, avoiding physical engagement. When on missions to locate scattered puzzle copperplates, he dons distinctive light-green exploration attire. Though the trio is tasked by Headmaster Ochaka to recover Oshaka Puzzle pieces, Sago Jo rarely participates directly in confrontations or combat. The group typically delegates physical challenges to Itadakiman, limiting their own involvement to logistical and observational duties. After each mission's resolution, they retrieve the puzzle pieces and depart.
