TV-Series
Description
Dasainen belongs to the antagonistic Dirt Cheap Trio alongside Yan-Yan and Tonmentan. He staunchly claims descent from Journey to the West's Sha Wujing based on generational family lore, though his actual heritage remains unverified. At 26, he has pursued admission into the exclusive Oshaka Academy—which only accepts confirmed descendants of Priest Sanzo's clan—for eight years as a ronin. He shares a residence and academic ambitions with Yan-Yan and Tonmentan, consistently failing to gain entry.

Initially, Dasainen commands demons encountered during missions, compelling them to assault protagonists. Mid-series, influenced by viewer feedback, he shifts tactics: designing original mechas and ordering Ryuko—a dragon girl summoned by Yan-Yan—to construct them. These machines engage Itadakiman in combat.

Serving as the trio's primary strategist and intellectual force, Dasainen is often dubbed Yan-Yan's "brain henchmen." He directs Ryuko to transform into the Snail Mecha (Den-Den Mecha) for transport or battle support. Though Ryuko occasionally deserts the trio after defeats, Dasainen's specific reactions go unrecorded.

Following the Dirt Cheap Trio's conclusive defeat, Dasainen's subsequent fate or development remains undocumented. His appearance and participation in later Time Bokan media—including films, OVAs, or spin-offs—are unaddressed beyond the original series.
