Shinichi Ōhara serves as the older brother to Shōta Ōhara and holds the position of eldest son within the Ōhara family. He is a middle school student residing at home with his family, which includes Q-Taro. When at home, Shinichi can often be found listening to music, displaying a particular fondness for records by the Beatles and Elvis Presley. While his younger brother Shōta struggles academically, Shinichi maintained an average academic performance during his own middle school years. In the 1985 anime series, Shinichi has a girlfriend, fellow middle school student Yukari Kawai. P-ko, identified as Q-Taro's younger sister, resides with Yukari.
