Description
Doll Rika is the primary protector of Licca Kayama, revealed as the princess of the Doll Kingdom. She originates from a set of dolls gifted by Licca's grandmother, Nanae Kayama. Magically activated by the spell "Tururu Kururu Tureiro Kureira" when summoned via Licca's Calling Pendant or bracelet, her core function is defending Licca from threats like Dr. Scarecrow and the demon Devaul, who seek her royal lineage.

Initially appearing small, she transforms into a human-sized warrior with pink hair and a distinctive red dress. She wields the specialized yo-yo weapon "Light Spinner" in combat, utilizing rapid propeller-like spins and precision strikes reminiscent of the samurai manriki-gusari chain technique to disarm and immobilize foes. As leader of the Doll Knights, she demonstrates superior agility and combat prowess compared to fellow guardians Doll Izumi and Doll Isamu. A significant power boost from the God of Doll Land enables her transformation into an advanced form capable of firing destructive beams of electrical light energy.

Her relationship with Licca is defined by unwavering loyalty to the Doll Kingdom's royal family, often acting as a mysterious protector who intervenes during crises before discreetly withdrawing. This dynamic extends to Nanae Kayama, who initially controls the summoning process via her pendant. In the manga continuity, her character undergoes substantial development: transitioning from a magical guardian into a human and ultimately marrying Rui Makiyama, a college student residing with the Kayama family who investigates the Doll Kingdom.

Key appearances include confronting the reawakened witch Dana during an amusement park incident in the film "Licca-chan Zettai Zetsumei! Doll Knights no Kiseki," combating threats sent by the possessed Queen Yae. Throughout the series, she engages Dr. Scarecrow's forces and Devaul's creations like Misty, frequently collaborating with the other Doll Knights during escalated battles. Her narrative concludes in the manga with permanent humanization and integration into the human world through marriage, departing from her original role as a summoned protector.
