Prince Shamus features in the episode "The Map of Danger" from the sequel series *Leo the Lion* (also known as *Onward, Leo!* or *New Jungle Emperor, Go Ahead Leo!*). He is prince of a neighboring lion pride bordering Leo's jungle territory. Shamus resides with his unnamed father and his sister, Lynca. Shamus holds a persistent rivalry with Leo, opposing Leo's ideals and confronting him physically on multiple occasions. After his father's death, Shamus ascends to kingship of his pride. His final duel against Leo ends in Shamus's defeat. Following this loss, Shamus relinquishes his territorial claim and departs the jungle with Lynca to seek a new domain elsewhere.
