Description
George Russell, Viscount of Marble, is the father of Lynn and Sarah Russell. Following his first wife Frances's death, he met and married Misuzu Midorikawa in Japan, where Lynn was born. Shortly after relocating his new family to England, Misuzu died in a car accident while shielding Lynn. George initially concealed the full truth of her death from Lynn to spare her grief.

Plunged into financial difficulties by business debts secured against Marble Mansion, George undertook frequent, extended work trips to repay creditors. His prolonged absences left Lynn and Sarah in others' care, though he remained deeply concerned for their welfare. Pressured by his father, the Duke of Woburn, to marry the wealthy Magdalene Waverley to erase the debts and threatened with Lynn's disownment if he refused, George resisted, prioritizing his daughters' happiness over financial security or social standing.

After creditors seized Marble Mansion, George worked tirelessly to reclaim it. During this separation, Lynn lived with Countess Isabel Montgomery while Sarah resided with their grandfather. George ensured his daughters each kept a golden heart-shaped locket, containing a family portrait and engraved with the virtues of a true Lady: merciful, courageous, and noble, as symbols of their bond. His relentless efforts to reunite his family and restore their home fueled his tireless dedication as a father.
