Description
Mantaro Kinniku, alias Kid Muscle, serves as the 59th prince of Planet Kinniku, offspring of the legendary Suguru Kinniku and warrior Bibimba. Raised in opulence during galactic peace, his pampered lifestyle fostered laziness, cowardice, and a penchant for avoiding hardship. Though genetically gifted with his father’s combat prowess, ignorance of Suguru’s erased heroics and a sheltered existence stifled his early growth. Basic training under Ramenman honed foundational skills but neglected discipline and power.

Compelled to join the Hercules Factory, a crucible for new warriors, he faced hostility from peers like Terry the Kid, who scorned the Kinniku legacy. A cage match against Anaconda forced an alliance with Terry, securing his first major victory. Graduation demanded defeating Suguru in battle, earning him the Mask of Glory, though poor academics relegated him to guarding a Tokyo park. There, Alexandria Meat exposed his father’s true history, mentoring him to awaken latent abilities like the Fire of Inner Strength, signaled by the glowing Niku symbol on his forehead.

Prone to lechery, shirking duties, and juvenile humor, Mantaro nonetheless displays fierce loyalty and moral conviction when allies face peril. His one-sided infatuation with Rinko Nikaido matures into mutual respect, while rivalry with Kevin Mask shifts from antagonism to uneasy partnership. A mentorship with Chaos Avenir defines his emotional journey, culminating in Chaos’s death fueling his vengeful resolve.

Initially dependent on inherited techniques like the Kinniku Buster, he later crafts original finishers such as the Muscle Millennium and Muscle Gravity. Training arcs—spanning the Demon Seed’s ethical trials to the Ultimate Tag Tournament’s teamwork focus—chart his tactical and physical growth. Defeat by Kevin Mask at the Chojin Olympics sparks introspection, driving him to lead the Muscle Brothers tag team with renewed purpose.

Clad in a dark-blue leotard with a yellow stripe, "KIN" emblem, and traditional Kinniku face mask, his muscular frame and blue eyes mask a psyche evolving from luck-dependent cowardice to strategic leadership. The Demon Seed arc tests his resolve through loss, while reconciliation with allies like Seiuchin underscores his maturation. Across media, Mantaro’s journey balances slapstick with high-stakes drama, forging an identity separate from his lineage as he confronts injustice despite enduring flaws.
