Description
Ikemen, also known as Ikemen Muscle, is the son of Harabote Muscle and brother of Jacqueline Muscle. He inherits the chairmanship of the Chojin Olympics after his father, despite lacking blood ties to the Kinniku dynasty. Initially mirroring his father's rivalry with Suguru through hostility toward Mantaro Kinniku, he obsesses over profit and engineers schemes for financial gain. He later evolves from antagonist to Mantaro's ally.
Physically, Ikemen possesses a face others mock as unattractive, though he personally prides himself on his appearance. He covers his naturally short or bald hair with a blond curly wig and displays thick eyebrows, a prominent nose, a red chin-piece, and a kanji symbol on his forehead. His attire features a green-sheened head fin native to Planet Harabote and Planet Muscle, golden chest armor, a skirt-like garment, cape, forearm protectors, and knee-high boots. He stands 6'2" with a muscular build.
His personality blends self-proclaimed fairness with ruthless pragmatism, epitomized by his motto: "you can’t stop evil with fair play." A shrewd businessman, he revives the bankrupt Universal Chojin Committee through ventures like rigged gambling. Calmer than his father or sister, he still reacts emotionally under stress, committing nervous errors like Freudian slips. Despite condemning cowardice, he exhibits cowardly tendencies and shuns excessive violence, contrasting Jacqueline’s bloodlust.
His dynamic with Jacqueline intertwines childhood resentment over stolen possessions and fears she might seize his chairmanship with mutual respect. She addresses him as "sama," while he uses nicknames like "Jacqui." Their interactions swing between physical clashes and affectionate support.
He first appears in the Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection Arc, orchestrating efforts to undermine Mantaro—recruiting The Ruralman as an opponent and scheming to disqualify Kevin Mask for profit. Vulnerable moments include public humiliation and childhood bullying flashbacks. A pivotal shift occurs when he bonds with Mantaro over shared attraction to a flamenco dancer, sparking their friendship.
In the Demon Seed Arc, he supports Mantaro by aiding Meat's rescue, providing match commentary, and tackling Mantaro to prevent recklessness. His comedic traits surface through mucus expulsion during a match and fainting at gore. During the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament Arc, he hosts award ceremonies, monitors time-travel missions, and hides in a secret ship room to avoid Jacqueline.
Across arcs, he delivers comic relief alongside competent moments, retaining his profit-driven focus while progressively aligning with the protagonists. His journey culminates in joining interdimensional justice missions with Mantaro, though his insecurities and financial obsessions endure.
