Description
Dick Dick Van Dick is a Tanzanian gazelle-type wrestler originally known as Gazelleman in Japanese media. Hailing from Tanzania, he boasts prominent gazelle traits, including antlers integrated into his fighting gear.
A top graduate of the Hercules Factory, he initially ranked first among trainees and received the assignment to protect Tokyo alongside Mantaro Kinniku. His early depiction highlighted formidable combat skills and a handsome appearance, supported by a Choujin Power rating of 1,000,000. Despite this strong beginning, he frequently suffers losses, transitioning into a comic relief role. His fighting style features the signature Antler Fist technique, employing a glove-mounted antler for powerful strikes, and his ultimate move, the Savannah Heat.
Throughout the series, he maintains a critical stance toward Mantaro's laziness and does not consistently support him. However, he occasionally provides crucial assistance to teammates during combat and offers tactical support in their battles against adversaries like the dMp. His presence is more pronounced in the anime adaptation, where he appears more frequently than in the manga.
