Rishia Ivyred hails from the disgraced Ivyred House, a noble family bankrupted by a corrupt neighbor’s sabotage after her parents refused illicit dealings. Their defiance triggered the loss of their authority, followed by systematic thefts and crop raids on their territory. When the rival noble demanded Rishia as ransom, the Bow Hero Itsuki stormed the mansion to rescue her, securing her unwavering loyalty. She joined his party but was confined to menial roles despite her scholarly intellect and untapped magical aptitude.
Falsely blamed for breaking Itsuki’s bracelet by his companions, she was cast out. Desperate, she sought death by drowning but was saved by Naofumi and Filo. Recognizing her potential, Naofumi invited her into his party, resetting her stats through a slave crest to unlock her growth. Initially at level 68 with stunted combat abilities—having prioritized close-combat classes to appease Itsuki—her stats lagged behind allies like Raphtalia and Filo.
Under Eclair Seaetto’s mentorship, Rishia mastered the Hengen Muso style, blending chi manipulation with elemental magic to command fire, water, earth, and wind. Her combat approach shifted from chaotic multitasking to tactical precision, employing Faust Hiding for stealth and Zveit Elemental Blow for strikes. During the Spirit Tortoise crisis, her strategic use of Lucor Fruit to disable foes earned the Queen’s acknowledgment. Her pivotal confrontation with Kyo, Vassal Book holder, saw her defy terror to challenge his cruelty and shield her allies.
Rishia’s appearance features long green braids, emerald eyes, and a petite frame clad in green garments, a brown vest, and a cape. Shyness drove her to adopt animal costumes, including a filolial disguise. Though timid and self-doubting in daily life, she displayed steely resolve under pressure before retreating into nervousness. While her loyalty to Itsuki lingered despite his neglect, she gradually redirected her dedication to Naofumi’s cause.
Later, she ascended as the Projectile Hero, wielding the Seven Star Projectile weapon. Legends ambiguously suggest a union with Itsuki, though other tales position her alongside different heroes. She aided Rock Valley’s governance, instructing villagers in Hengen Muso and bolstering defenses. Her legacy spans literature, including protagonist roles in narratives targeting female audiences, reflecting her diverse impact across stories.
