Donta is a heavyset troublemaker and classmate of the protagonists in elementary school, frequently causing classroom disruptions. He leads a small group of two underlings, Ago and Pochi, whose designs draw direct inspiration from characters in Go Nagai's earlier "Kikkai-kun" manga. Initially antagonistic, Donta and his group regularly participate in bullying, including targeting classmates with ridicule about physical appearance—reflecting the series' thematic inclusion of weight-based teasing. Despite this antagonistic start, they eventually form a genuine friendship with Tickle and Chiko. Donta's character remains largely unchanged throughout the series' episodes, without significant development or exploration of his backstory.
