Fuyuyoshi Komori is the father of Chiko (Tiko) and Hina. He initiates the series' events by giving Chiko a book for her eleventh birthday. Unbeknownst to him, this book imprisons Tickle, a mischievous witch punished for playing pranks. When Chiko opens the book and frees Tickle, a memory-altering spell affects the entire Komori family, including Fuyuyoshi. This spell makes them believe Tickle has always been their daughter and Chiko's twin sister. Consequently, Fuyuyoshi accepts Tickle as a biological daughter, integrating her seamlessly into family life and treating her no differently than Chiko or Hina.

Within the Komori household—comprising his wife Haruko, daughters Chiko and Hina, and the magically adopted Tickle—Fuyuyoshi is consistently portrayed as a family man. He embodies a supportive and loving parental figure. His profession, personal history, and external relationships remain unexplored, as does any significant character development across the series. His presence primarily establishes the family context and facilitates the core premise of Tickle's integration.
