Her grandfather vanished during a test run of his Time Bokan invention, driving her to endure dangers across history to find him.

Gentle, kind, and compassionate, Junko often shows greater reasoning than her impulsive companion, Tanpei. Her innocence and empathy are potent; her mere presence once caused an AI-equipped walrus mecha to self-destruct rather than harm her. Though generally calm, she startles easily in peril, frequently screaming when piloting mechas under attack.

Junko feels Dr. Kieta's absence more deeply than others in the search party.
