Napo, known as Snagglebit elsewhere, is the son of Mayor Bossabit (Meimondo-sonchō). Raised solely by his father after his mother's early death, this position shapes his standing in the community.

He exhibits spoilt tendencies, reflecting his upbringing as the mayor's son. Smitten with Lillabit (Berufi), he views Willibit (Rirubitto), Lillabit's closest friend, as a romantic rival. This fuels regular clashes between Napo and Willibit, though they otherwise maintain a functional relationship. His core friends are Chip (Mokkin) and Browniebit (Shimejiru), whom Napo often teases for his timidity.

Across the series, Napo matures. He sheds his self-centered nature through involvement in village activities, including an episode focused on encouraging voter turnout. His development culminates during the final story arc's devastating earthquake, where he contributes significantly to rebuilding Foothill Forest, demonstrating newfound responsibility and community spirit.
