Description
Hiroshi Taikai, nicknamed Hiro, discovers a small, golden Zippo-style lighter. This object is the sentient giant robot Golden Warrior Gold Lightan, capable of transforming from its compact lighter form into a 30-meter-tall, 200-ton combat mode. Hiro carries the lighter concealed in his pocket for easy transport.
Gold Lightan defends Earth from alien invasions led by King Ibalda. Hiro becomes Gold Lightan's partner in this mission. He assembles his friends into the "Bratty Rangers" to aid the robot, including his sister Ohina Taikai.
Hiro coordinates with Gold Lightan and an expanding team of unique Lightan robots. Gold Lightan leads them in battle, often employing his signature hand stab technique to penetrate enemy robots and destroy their core energy device, the heartbox. Hiro's role focuses on facilitating Gold Lightan's operations and mobilizing the Bratty Rangers during crises.
