Description
Tritó, the last survivor of the Triton clan annihilated by the rival Poseidon family 5,000 years ago in Atlantis, was orphaned as an infant. A white dolphin named Ruka swam him to coastal Japan for safety, where fisherman Kazuya Yasaki discovered and raised him. Poseidon later triggered a devastating tsunami that destroyed Kazuya's village, killing his father and forcing Tritó, Kazuya, and Kazuya's mother to flee to Tokyo.

Mature, Tritó returned to the ocean seeking vengeance against Poseidon. Accompanied by dolphins Ruka, Uru, Karu, and Fin, he launched attacks against Poseidon's forces. He met Pipiko, the last mermaid, who became his ally. Together they fought Poseidon's minions, and Tritó hunted down and eliminated Poseidon's 33 children one by one.

Tritó encountered Ganomosu, an ancient giant turtle, who advised him to live on a floating island formed by the turtle's shell, guarded by seven whirlpools. When Poseidon created a destructive offspring using a sponge disguised as Pipiko, Tritó negotiated a truce mediated by Ganomosu: Tritó would destroy the creature in exchange for Poseidon ending hostilities against merfolk. Tritó succeeded by trapping the monster on dry land in sunlight.

Tritó married Pipiko, who laid seven eggs. These hatched into children named after rainbow colors: Blue Triton, Green Triton, Indigo Triton, Yellow Triton, Orange Triton, Red Triton, and Violet Triton. A storm separated Green Triton during an educational voyage. Searching on land in Tokyo, Poseidon's forces deceived Tritó with false news of Green Triton's death. Enraged, Tritó unleashed tsunamis that damaged the city. After reuniting with his children and realizing the deception, Tritó was shot trying to return them to the sea. Kazuya intervened, exposing Poseidon's plot.

Tritó then confronted Poseidon for a final battle. He entrusted merfolk leadership to his son Blue Triton and allied with Ganomosu to assault Poseidon's base. The conflict ended in a massive explosion that destroyed the base and killed Tritó and Poseidon; Ganomosu survived. Blue Triton later guided the merfolk to Ganomosu, who offered his body as sanctuary for Pipiko and the children. The family lived on what became known as Ganomosu Island.

Physically, Tritó has distinctive green hair and wields a red dagger. This weapon, found in his adoptive family's home, contains a recorded message from his parents, serving as a link to his heritage and a tool against enemies.
