Description
Katejina Loos hails from the fictional city of Uwig, introduced as a determined seventeen-year-old who forms a pen-pal bond with Uso Ewin. When Zanscare Empire forces annihilate her home, she allies with Uso in the League Militaire but grows disillusioned by their reliance on him as a child soldier, criticizing the physical and psychological strain it inflicts.
Captured by Zanscare lieutenant Cronicle Asher, she defects to serve as his aide, training rigorously to ascend as the empire’s elite mobile suit pilot. Her allegiance stems from admiration for Cronicle, alignment with Maria’s matriarchal vision, and deepening bitterness toward Uso, whom she blames for obstructing her aspirations. This animosity culminates in violent confrontations, including the deaths of Shrike Team members and Uso’s ally Odelo Henrik.
Awakening Newtype abilities—clairvoyance, telepathy, and vocal projection to non-psychics—she grows increasingly vindictive, pursuing conflict with ruthless intensity. A final showdown with Uso triggers a mental breakdown, robbing her of sight and memories. Post-war, she wanders Earth broken until encountering Shahkti Kareen, who gifts her an electronic compass.
In alternate narratives, her arc diverges: severe burns and cybernetic augmentation transform her into a Cyber Newtype before her demise in combat. Video game portrayals, such as *Super Robot Wars*, cast her as an enemy pilot with Cyber Newtype capabilities, occasionally recruitable under precise scenarios.
Her fractured upbringing—her father’s collusion with Zanscare and her mother’s infidelity—fuels distrust in authority. Captivity under Cronicle fosters Stockholm syndrome, while Zanscare’s dogma and her burgeoning Newtype powers intensify her ideological fervor, merging personal ambition with fanaticism.
