TV-Series
Description
Cronicle Asher is the younger brother of Zanscare Queen Maria Pia Armonia and uncle to her daughter, Shahkti Kareen. He serves as an ace pilot and lieutenant within the Zanscare military force BESPA, rising to strategic command. His intense rivalry with League Militaire pilot Üso Ewin defines a key aspect of his narrative.

Cronicle maintains a complex, disciplined personality. He executes orders without complaint, even when questioning tactics like bombing areas to lure out a single mobile suit. He shows sporadic concern for non-combatants, ordering civilian children away from danger or shielding Shahkti from debris during an air raid. Yet, he simultaneously participates in large-scale atrocities such as the Earth Cleaning Operation, which devastates cities and kills thousands to prepare Earth for Zanscare rule. He wears a face mask exclusively while piloting mobile suits.

His story begins testing the ZMT-S12G Shokew near Point Kasarelia, where an encounter with Üso Ewin's Victory Gundam core fighter leads to a physical altercation, stranding him in a forest. Rescued by fellow pilot Garry Tunn, Cronicle pursues League Militaire forces across Europe. He later infiltrates their hidden forest factory to alert BESPA, triggering an air raid. During this operation, he encounters Shahkti Kareen, feeling unexplained familiarity when she sings a tune known only to his sister.

Cronicle captures Count Oy Nyung and civilian Katejina Loos during the factory raid. He intervenes to prevent her assault by soldiers, leading her to develop Stockholm syndrome and romantic attachment. Their relationship deepens as he shields her from harm and hides her from Üso. After executing his superior Fuala Griffon on orders from Tassilo Vago, Cronicle is promoted to lieutenant.

Dissatisfied with his sister's manipulation by advisor Fonse Kagatie, Cronicle conspires with Katejina to overthrow Kagatie and seize the Angel Halo superweapon for personal conquest of the Earth Sphere. This culminates in a final space battle where his mobile suit is disabled by Üso. Thrown into space near Angel Halo, he experiences hallucinations of Queen Maria, pleading for salvation before dying upon impact with colony debris.

Novel adaptations feature minor divergences, such as the absence of the Victory 2 Gundam and inclusion of autonomous "Bugs" weapons from *Mobile Suit Gundam F91*, though Cronicle's core arc remains consistent. Manga spin-offs like *Mobile Suit Victory Gundam Outside Story* exist, but concrete details about his role in them are unspecified.
