Fololo, called Lololo in non-dubbed versions, began as part of a single being named Lola (renamed Fofa in the English dub). King Dedede ordered the Demon Beast Slice 'N Splice to split this entity, creating Fololo and his counterpart Falala before Kirby reached Cappy Town. Deeming them harmless, Dedede discarded both.

Fololo and Falala are inseparable partners, constantly appearing together. They share dialogue, finish each other's sentences, and move in perfect sync. Serving as bodyguards to Sir Ebrum and Lady Like, they also frequently join Tiff and Tuff. Their profound dependence is captured in their words: "We may have two bodies... But we've got one heart." Unlike their video game portrayals, they possess flight in the anime.

Acting as steadfast allies, they support Kirby and the heroes, joining efforts to thwart King Dedede's schemes and monster attacks. Their origin as fragments of a former whole remains unexplored within the narrative. Visually, they share a spherical blue body, a stubby tail, deep violet eyes, and small white mittens and shoes. Their supportive role, abilities, and interdependent relationship remain unchanged throughout the documented materials.
