He guides the protagonist Enma and the Yokai Patrol team on their missions. His primary function involves providing direction and oversight as the team tracks escaped yokai in the human world. Levitation stands as his sole documented supernatural ability. Throughout the original series narrative, he remains a constant presence, fulfilling his core advisory role without significant changes to his function or personality.
