Dino Stego is a Core Dino Knight, originally a Stegosaurus converted by Earth to combat the Dragozaurs – an alien species draining the planet's life force 65 million years ago. He reawakens in the present era alongside other Dino Knights, reigniting the ancient war upon the Dragozaurs' return.

Characterized by a rugged, combat-oriented personality, he enthusiastically engages Dragozaur forces. His signature weapon is the Stego Skeletal Revolution, a rotating ribcage mechanism that violently spins and entraps opponents, causing disorientation. This attack remains his consistent method across appearances. He retains his Stegosaurus form in dinosaur mode.

His background includes a romantic relationship with a fellow Stegosaurus named Daisy, referenced as his girlfriend. A subplot involves human allies retrieving one of Daisy's fossilized plates displayed in a museum. Despite this personal stake, Dino Stego prioritizes joining a battle against Drago Clones over immediate reunion, demonstrating his dedication to the Dino Knights' mission.

His role is consistently focused on frontline combat throughout the series. He operates within the Core Dino Knights unit under Dino Tyranno's command, participating in group battles against threats like Drago Clones and Diamond Ryugu's extractor devices. He experiences no documented transformations, power upgrades, or shifts in leadership position.
