Description
A high school student standing under one meter tall defies physical limitations with extraordinary athletic prowess, honed through strict childhood training under his grandfather. To shield him from escalating discipline, his parents staged his death, prompting his relocation to the city. There, he stays with Akane’s family after his parents depart for the U.S., channeling relentless determination into winning her affection. His efforts face constant disruption from Seiichiro, a rivalrous talking dog smitten with Akane, whose antics blend romantic sabotage with comedic sports-commentary interludes.

Fixated on white undergarments as symbols of purity, his obsession sparks slapstick escapades—from skirt-peeking misadventures to using the fixation as motivational fuel. Beneath the humor lies sincere devotion to Akane, their bond transitioning from clumsy interactions to reciprocal attraction, punctuated by jealous clashes and defensive instincts.

Dominating sports like basketball, table tennis, fencing, and ice hockey, he deploys ludicrous, reality-bending tactics—outwitting telepathic opponents or repurposing his uniform as a parachute—to parody conventional sports manga tropes. Adversaries include Akane’s vindictive ex-boyfriend and his grandfather, who retaliates by coaching a rival team upon uncovering the faked death.

The narrative weaves rivalry, growth, and chaotic misunderstandings, resolving with side characters’ romantic entanglements and Seiichiro’s shift in affection toward a feline companion in the closing arc.
