Description
Richter, born Prince and rightful heir to the Baam Empire's throne, witnessed the assassination of his father, King Leon, during peace talks with Earth. The murder, orchestrated by Olban and executed by Georiya using poison, deliberately framed Earth delegates. This deception ignited Richter's profound belief in human treachery. His immediate retaliation—shooting at human delegates—resulted in the death of Dr. Isamu Ryūzaki, father of Earth's defender Kazuya Ryūzaki, cementing Richter's vendetta against humanity.

Displaced and young, Richter accepted the rank of Admiral under Olban's regency. Commanding Baam forces from the Undersea Castle, he deployed Mecha Warriors against Earth with generals Raiza and Balbas. His military campaigns aimed to annihilate humanity, seeking Earth as a new homeworld for the Baam refugees after their planet's destruction by a stellar catastrophe.

Richter's relationship with his sister Erika defined him. Initially protective, he demonstrated deep familial loyalty by rescuing her from a palace fire in their youth. However, discovering her love for Kazuya enraged him as betrayal. He physically assaulted her, declared her a traitor, and ordered her execution. He later authorized a staged funeral after Margarete faked Erika's death.

His leadership exhibited harsh authoritarianism: purging sympathizers, establishing a caste system where traitors suffered wing amputations, and enslaving dissenters. He abused subordinates like Raiza for military failures and sentenced peace advocate Gurney Halleck to death for questioning the war, actions reflecting brutality fueled by vengeance and Olban's manipulation.

A turning point came when Richter uncovered Olban's role in Leon's assassination and the advisor's broader conspiracy, including plans to zombify the Baam population. This revelation shifted Richter's focus from Earth to overthrowing the usurper. He allied temporarily with Kazuya to confront Olban, exposing the poisoning of Leon and killing Georiya for his complicity.

In his final act, Richter engaged Olban in mortal combat, killing him but sustaining fatal wounds from Baam genocide squads. With his last strength, he thwarted Olban's dead-man switch designed to crash the Baam Asteroid City into Jupiter, saving both species. His dying words entrusted Erika's protection to Kazuya, acknowledging their bond and implicitly endorsing human-Baam coexistence.
