Gorumu, also called Gorm, is a crew member from the village of Flake serving aboard Halvar's Viking ship. He holds the crucial position of lookout during voyages, scanning for threats, landmarks, or points of interest from his high vantage point. This role suits his excitable and highly reactive nature, often displaying intense enthusiasm or agitation during unexpected events. Energetic and prone to overreactions, Gorumu contributes significantly to the crew despite not being the strongest physically. He joins fellow Vikings Tjure, Snorre, Urobe, Ulme, and Faxe in raids, voyages, and challenges.

The character features across multiple adaptations: the original 78-episode animated television series, the Studio 100 CGI-animated reboot series, and the live-action films *Wickie und die starken Männer* (2009) and *Wickie auf Großer Fahrt* (2011), where actor Mike Maas portrays him.
