Description
Princess Apricot, the elvish princess of Fountain Land, endures a kingdom under military occupation by forces loyal to the monster Scorpion. Her parents perished during the invasion, charging her with a critical mission: return to her homeland before a total solar eclipse. Claiming the throne by this deadline would unleash a great power of water capable of destroying the occupiers, forming the core purpose driving her actions.

Initially presented with royal dignity, she reveals humility by insisting her rescuers—Frog, Tutty, and Otter—call her "Apri." This reflects her approachable and considerate nature. Despite the desperate urgency of her quest, she consistently encourages the group to help others in need during their journey, prioritizing compassion even when it delays progress. She actively shares chores aboard their transport, the Bosco ship, and frequently partners with Frog to overcome challenges.

Kidnapped by the cloaked mercenary Hoodman and his aides, Jack and Franz, who aimed to prevent her timely return, she orchestrated her initial escape by sending a distress call via her mechanical bird, Speak, leading to her rescue by Bosco Forest inhabitants. Her relationship with Frog evolves beyond friendship, incorporating deepening romantic elements as they face adversity together.

Significant events shape her journey: rescuing the kidnapped Baby Dragon from Hoodman temporarily turns the Mother Dragon against her group before reconciliation; aiding the Unicorn after Hoodman manipulates it into believing the Bosco crew are devils, freeing it with Frog when abandoned injured; and interacting with Ender, a Fountain Land nobleman who initially clashes with the group over their informal address of "Apri" but later assists them upon recognizing their dedication.

Her story culminates in Fountain Land confronting Scorpion. To fulfill her destiny and restore the Fountain of Life—the source of all life forces in her world—she undergoes a transformation and sacrifices herself. This act releases the water power, defeats the occupiers, revitalizes the land, and completes her ordained role as Guardian of the Fountain.
