Aobon, also known as the Blue Bomber, is a core member of the protagonist team in the Bakugaiden narrative. In Bakugaiden III, he is a member of the Nereid Rebel Alliance and bears the Planet Emblem of Uranus on his B-Dama, aiding White Bomber and allies against the Nol Arc Empire by developing a radar to track other emblems. His technical expertise is prominent; he excels at mechanics and computer systems, often assisting his grandfather, Dr. Gray Bomber, in constructing and repairing B-Da Armors. He employs radars, scanners, and technology to analyze enemy movements, identify structural weaknesses, and guide teammates. This analytical role continues in Bakugaiden V, where he serves as a B-Da Cop, showcasing deductive skills. Personality-wise, he exhibits a timid nature and less confidence than his peers. He speaks formally, is easily frightened by the supernatural, and initially displays pronounced shyness around girls, particularly harboring a crush on Red Bomber (Akabon), though this diminishes. Despite his reserved demeanor, he demonstrates moments of courage and quick thinking. His constant companion is Rui-Rui, a male pink rabbit B-Daron who shares his intelligence and assists Dr. Gray Bomber. Rui-Rui’s popularity with girls sometimes leads Aobon to comically imitate his appearance in unsuccessful attempts to gain similar attention. Aobon pilots several B-Da Armors. His initial land-based armor, Blue Sniper, features a retractable scope for precision targeting and serves as a template until it is destroyed. He later receives Blue Braver, which incorporates flight, enhanced targeting, and X-ray sensors for hidden foes. Blue Braver combines with White Blows and Yellow Crasher to form Saint Blaster (as the right leg) and further with Black Devastator to create Saint Dragon. Later, he operates armors like Sonic Blueder and Crys Blueder, utilizing attacks including Gatling Shot, Homing Shot, Sniper Shot, and Braver Cannon. Within Bakugaiden V, he serves as Shirobon’s partner in the B-Da Cop unit, protecting peace across space and time, rescuing Princess Akabon, and thwarting the Devilvader organization’s efforts to collect Crysmonds.
