Description
Black Bomber, alias Kurobon, anchors multiple franchise entries including *Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden* and its sequel *Bakugaiden V*. Grandson of Professor Bomber and older twin to Jack, his resolve crystallized after witnessing Dark B-Da snatch Jack into a vortex during their childhood baseball game. This event ignited his crusade against evil and quest to reclaim his brother.

His persona blends stern aloofness with solitary operations, initially distrusting others' combat skills. Yet beneath this stoic exterior lies fierce loyalty; he repeatedly shields allies in peril while dismissing such acts as happenstance. A tactician in battle, he dissects opponents' vulnerabilities with swift precision, ranking among the protagonists' most lethal warriors. He maintains a strictly platonic dynamic with Red Bomber, who nurses unreturned affection for him.

Throughout his campaigns, he commands successive B-Da Armors. He first deployed the land-based Black Gattlinger, wielding rotary cannons for "Gatling Shot" assaults—though these faltered against elite adversaries. After its ruin, he advanced to the flight-capable Black Cluster, executing rapid "Cluster Cannon" barrages. His ultimate armor, Black Devastator, boasted twin barrels and draconic transformation, merging with units like Saint Blaster to forge the Saint Dragon composite. Its "Saint Fire Volley" strike vanquished apocalyptic foes.

Earlier chronicles cast him as a captain in Emperor Dark Bomber's forces before defecting upon uncovering the emperor's rot. His arc peaked when he redeemed Jack, who had been brainwashed into the villainous Dark Prince—a reunion that momentarily thawed his reserve.

In *Bakugaiden V*, he operates incognito as the elite "B-Da Cop" Mystery Armor. Retaining his lone-wolf methods, he materializes at pivotal clashes to reinforce comrades like Shirobon before vanishing. Peers dub him the "uncrowned king" for his mastery, symbolized by collected shining medals. He locks horns with Devil Slinger, a rival matching his combat prowess blow for blow.
