Heizaemon Kamikita, grandfather to pilots Keiko and Kimiko Kamikita, commands the King Beal spacecraft. This vessel serves as headquarters and base for the Jin family's operations. He belongs to the Kamikita family, one of three Beal survivor families (alongside the Jin and Kamie families) who settled on Earth after Gaizok destroyed their home planet. His role grants him authority within the Jin family's defense against Gaizok. Heizaemon is part of the Jin family's multi-generational structure, reflecting a thematic emphasis on extended family bonds beyond the nuclear unit and underscoring generational continuity and sacrifice. During the final battle against Gaizok, Heizaemon and most adult Jin family members perish when the King Beal burns up during atmospheric re-entry. This sacrifice creates an opportunity for Kappei Jin, the sole surviving Zambot 3 pilot, to escape.
