Description
Mill Alberto, alias Julia Asuka, serves as the protagonist’s elder sister, born to a human astronaut father and a Gradosian noble mother. Raised within the Gradosian Empire, her hybrid heritage shaped a life straddling two worlds. Betrothed to Gale—her brother’s confidant and a high-ranking Gradosian officer—she initially embraced her society’s norms, her impending wedding symbolizing allegiance to imperial traditions. When her family sought to shield Earth from Gradosian aggression, she rebuffed their pleas, departing her homeland to stand with Gale, a choice that estranged her from her brother’s mission to warn Earth of invasion.

Marked for execution during Earth’s occupation under Supreme Commander Ru Kain (Le Caine), she survived when his fascination with her unyielding spirit stayed his hand. Her resilience faced further trials through Gosterro, a vengeful Gradosian officer whose unrequited obsession subjected her to public degradation, exposing her fragility yet underscoring her tenacity. Exposure to Gradosian-Earthling ancestral ties and Ru Kain’s complex influence gradually reshaped her convictions.

In the *Kokuin 2000* OVA’s alternate timeline, she emerged as a linchpin for peace, unlocking the Seal of Grados—an act defying imperial dogma—and persuading Ru Kain to renounce conquest. Their retreat to Grados pivoted toward diplomacy, recasting her from a conflicted noble bound by duty to a bridge between civilizations.

Her poised, enigmatic presence, framed by dark hair and regal bearing, echoed her narrative function as a mediator. The OVA’s closure highlighted her transformed agency: once resistant to Earth’s plight, she ignited fragile hope for unity, cementing her evolution from loyalist to reconciler.
