Description
Designated as the GGG Super-AI Multi-Robo GMX-GH101, Goldymarg was constructed specifically to carry and deploy the Goldion Hammer without damaging GaoGaiGar. This role involves transforming into the Marg Hand, enabling GaoGaiGar to wield the hammer safely. Goldymarg is the largest Vehicle Machine, nearly matching the height of Symmetrical-Docked units in standard robot mode. The unit possesses a secondary form, GoldyTank, featuring the Marg Cannon (derived from the Goldion Hammer's handle) and demonstrating exceptional capabilities like scaling vertical surfaces. Across all modes, Goldymarg exhibits extreme durability and physical strength.
Its Super-AI is patterned after Lieutenant Geki Hyuuma's neural patterns, resulting in a hotheaded, stubborn, and boastful personality. This programming leads to frequent bickering between Goldymarg and Hyuuma. The AI prioritizes mission completion with a "never give up" attitude, often displaying arrogance and impatience during operations.
Technically, Goldymarg's robot mode stands at 25.5 meters tall, weighs 625 tons, and achieves a maximum running speed of 125 km/h. The GoldyTank mode measures 24 meters long and increases speed to 156 km/h. Both configurations utilize Ultra G-Armorment plating and share the Marg Cannon fusion beam weapon. The tank mode employs a six-wheel drive system with Super Bit Drive traction control, enabling it to climb inclines up to 100 degrees under ideal conditions. Propulsion in both forms is supported by rocket thrusters generating 750 tons of thrust.
Primary equipment includes the Gravity Shockwave Generating Tool, the Goldion Hammer, which generates a custom shockwave transforming impacted particles into photons at the subatomic level. Though integral to its structure, Goldymarg cannot wield the hammer independently without later upgrades. Additional capabilities include the Gori-Marg combination attack with Dag-Drill, where Goldymarg physically throws the drill unit.
Operational history began during EI-21's gravity-manipulation attack; Goldymarg moved freely while other GGG units were immobilized. After disabling EI-21 by toppling the Space Development Center's observatory onto it, Goldymarg facilitated GaoGaiGar's first use of the Goldion Hammer to destroy the Zonder.
Confronting Repli-Star GaoGaiGar in Osaka, the original Goldion Hammer and Goldymarg's body were destroyed by Repli-Mamoru's Hell and Heaven technique. The Super-AI survived, embedded into the "Goldion Crusher" as its control unit. This configuration destroyed Pisa Sol in a one-time usage, resulting in the Crusher's destruction from backlash. Goldymarg's head section, containing the AI, remained intact and later participated in farewell ceremonies for Ikumi and Mamoru.
During GaoGaiGar VS Betterman, the Triple Zero entity regenerated Goldymarg's original body. After being defeated and purified following conflict with GaoFighGar, the Super-AI transferred into the Goldion Double Hammer, insisting on redesignation as "GoldyDoubleMarg." Subsequent developments integrated the AI into the Goldion Armor framework.
Goldymarg's evolution includes adaptation into the Goldion Crusher, Goldion Double Hammer, and Goldion Armor systems. Each iteration maintains the core Super-AI while expanding functionality, such as enabling independent use of the Goldion Hammer as GoldyDoubleMarg, preserving the unit's identity and purpose despite physical form changes.
