Description
Kaihei Kijima, an ordinary high school student, unexpectedly inherits the chairmanship of St. Luminous Mission High School after his grandfather's death. Thrust into campus administration, he enforces rules and manages discipline despite his initial inexperience. As the sole male student on an all-girls campus, he navigates the unique dynamics of his academic life and leadership responsibilities.

His arrival coincides with the disappearance of student Melina Scafissi, triggering his central role in investigating her case and subsequent vanishings. Kaihei probes these strange occurrences discreetly, avoiding police involvement, while facing mounting pressure from teachers and parents concerned about the school's stability under his leadership.

He receives crucial assistance from his friend Ryuzo Tanami, who cross-dresses to enroll and support the investigation. Sister Akane, part of the school's nun-run administration, also interacts with him within this institutional framework. Kaihei's development reflects escalating challenges in his dual role as student and chairman. Episode titles like "Where am I headed?" and "Why am I here?" suggest themes of self-examination as he confronts disappearances and institutional pressures, focusing on resolving the core mystery before graduation while upholding the school's emphasis on student freedom.

In the PlayStation game adaptation, his role expands to daily management of school operations. Players engage with him using surveillance systems to monitor campus locations and conversations, addressing student concerns throughout an academic year, reinforcing his administrative duties and social involvement—though the game's events exist outside the anime's continuity.

His background remains focused on inheriting the chairmanship and his ordinary origins, with no family details beyond his grandfather. His story arc concludes within the 13-episode anime, with no further extensions in other animated media beyond the game.
