Description
Baron Ashler, alias Baron Ashura, began as a pair of lovers executed for their forbidden union—mummified and entombed alive. When their burial site crumbled, it shattered the man’s right side and the woman’s left. Dr. Hell salvaged the fractured remains, fusing them into a singular cybernetic entity bound by unwavering loyalty. Their merged form juxtaposes contrasting halves: the male side bears rugged features—darkened skin, coarse body hair, and a thick brow—while the female half gleams with emerald eyeliner, crimson lips, and a robe split between violet and black.

Resurrected by Dr. Hell, Ashura dedicates every action to repaying this twisted debt, orchestrating merciless campaigns through Mechanical Beasts and the Ashura Corps. Though strategic, their hubris sparks repeated defeats—failed assaults on the Photon Power Laboratory, clashes with Mazinger Z, and a tense rivalry with Count Brocken, marked by both sabotage and grudging admiration.

Ashura’s legacy pivots on pivotal betrayals. Their bombing of Professor Juzo Kabuto ignited Koji’s vengeful crusade, while their role in the Saluud Prison Operation and Danube α1 rebellion underscored tactical cunning. Disguises and cross-narrative deceptions, including Autobot manipulation, revealed their adaptability. Yet deeper treachery emerged: Dr. Hell and Dr. Kabuto had scarred the lovers with acid, falsifying their salvation. This revelation, paired with the annihilation of their Mycenaean lineage, fractured Ashura’s allegiance. Torn between loyalty and heritage, a desperate self-sacrifice was thwarted by implanted safeguards.

Their final act unfolded during the sea fortress Bood’s destruction, colliding with the Gool. Archduke Gorgon reclaimed their remains, honoring their valor with a Hell Island monument. Dr. Hell’s tribute, the Mechanical Beast Jetfire P1, echoed Ashura’s influence, as did posthumous illusions haunting later conflicts—a spectral testament to their enduring shadow over the war-torn world.
