Description
Noir Stardia, third son of a baronet family, occupies the lowest rung of nobility—a status derided as "beggar nobles" by aristocrats, subjecting him to discrimination despite his supportive immediate family. After losing a librarian position to wealthier nobility, he turns to adventuring to uplift his prospects and aid his kin. Initially cautious and self-described as naïve, particularly toward romantic advances from women, he remains oblivious to admirers despite attracting them. His serious demeanor occasionally yields venomous remarks, and he deliberately avoids non-consensual acts like peeping or groping, distinguishing him from peers. Physically, he has brown hair, black eyes, and fair skin, typically clad in a white shirt, dark green jacket, dark brown pants, and brown boots, often bearing a sword.

His innate skill, Great Sage, provides boundless knowledge but triggers excruciating headaches—alleviated by kisses from childhood friend Emma Brightness. He later develops Headache Immunity to counter this. In a hidden dungeon, he meets Olivia Servant, an S-rank adventurer magically imprisoned for 200 years. She grants him three skills: Create (to generate skills), Edit (to modify existing skills), and Bestow (to gift skills). These consume Life Points (LP), which drain with use and replenish through joy—especially intimate encounters with women. LP depletion risks death, necessitating continual pursuit of pleasure.

Combat-wise, he crafts and refines skills like elemental manipulation (fire, water, ice, lightning, earth), teleportation, dimensional storage, paralysis, probability alteration, and mental interference. Tactically, he edits Luna Heela’s curse-breaking skill to cost money instead of lifespan and amplifies an enemy firebird’s weight to ensure its defeat. Discerning Eye aids battle analysis.

His development hinges on moral rigor and ingenuity. He enforces a "Thou Shall Not Kill" creed against humans and humanoids, favoring non-lethal solutions even when survival conflicts with this principle. Creatively, he repels attacks via Shield of Champions or subverts enemy abilities. Socially, he evolves from a marginalized noble to a celebrated adventurer, enrolling in the Hero Academy and gaining renown through valor.

Relationships anchor his journey. Emma Brightness, his steadfast childhood friend and primary romantic interest, offers emotional stability. Lola Meltrose, a guild receptionist, assigns quests and accommodates his growing harem. Luna Heela, a half-elf cleric, joins after he alters her curse. Maria, a noble’s daughter, enters his life when he saves her from a lethal curse. His sister Alice Stardia complicates family dynamics with her romantic interest. Olivia Servant mentors him, guiding his growth while hoping he will break her chains.

Key arcs include shielding female classmates from voyeurs at a hot spring—spending substantial LP to thwart offenders and win their trust. Later, confronting an impostor posing as Olivia, he violates his non-lethal rule to eliminate the threat and free the true Olivia, demonstrating his capacity to adapt principles when essential.
