Description
Professor Kossing, the French localization name for Tatsuya Randou, was a late 21st-century marine farming scientist. For 25 years, he secretly researched Quaschika, an ancient treasure predating recorded history, enduring scientific community ridicule. The destruction of his marine farm by the Goblin Society—an underground organization seeking Quaschika to reclaim Earth's surface—forced him to reveal his long-term preparations.
He constructed the super robot Acrobunch, formed from five combining vehicles, and launched a global quest for Quaschika accompanied by his five children. Leading this expedition, Professor Kossing maintained a generally calm demeanor, though he became singularly focused when nearing potential discoveries. His research theorized that global myths and ancient ruins, including Mt. Shasta, Atlantis, Stonehenge, and Shambhala, held clues to Quaschika's location, framing their journey as an archaeological adventure.
His children played active roles, with eldest son Hiro often assuming leadership in his absence. They faced persistent pursuit by the Goblin Society under King Deros, leading to confrontations at various historical and mythological sites. The quest concluded with the resolution of the Goblin Society threat and the fulfillment of the treasure hunt, with Quaschika's nature and the family's ultimate fate tied to the original series' finale.
