Description
Suzu Asahina and her twin brother Ryo are known collectively as the Platonic Twins. Their profound bond enables them to constantly sense each other's presence, location, and even thoughts. They survived a near-fatal blizzard in the mountains, where they were the only ones to endure the freezing cold. As Suzu was succumbing to the cold, their lives were saved by Ohga, who offered Ryo a Kaizer Stone. The stone granted them a new, shared form, saving Suzu's life and binding their eternal loyalty to Ohga.
In their combined Kaizer form, Suzu forms the central torso, with her arms and legs supporting Ryo's limbs; Ryo constitutes the head, shoulders, and legs of the entity. This form is nicknamed the Suspicious-Looking White Giant. Their unique Kaizer Stone is designed to be shared between them. In this combined state, Ryo absorbs the majority of any physical injuries sustained in combat.
Their relationship transcends a typical sibling connection, marked by a deep, amorous tension and a love that fortifies them in battle. They were initially cast out by those who disapproved of the intensity of their bond.
A pivotal moment occurs when the twins face Isato Kaiza on Ohga's command. During the confrontation, Isato's attack proves fatal for Ryo, who sacrifices himself to shield Suzu. Shattered by her brother's death, Suzu vows revenge and implores Ohga for a new Kaizer Stone to prove her own strength. Despite warnings of the dangers, as their power was meant to be shared, Ohga agrees and implants a stone directly into her chest.
Later, when Isato and Kash invade Ohga's domain, a grief-stricken and embittered Suzu confronts them. She transforms into a distressed state known as Platonic Slave and attacks Isato relentlessly, though he refuses to fight back. After striking a powered-down Isato in a final surge of frustration, she collapses from overwhelming sorrow. The Kaizer Stone within her begins to cause adverse effects, but Kash offers to resonate his own stone with hers, successfully alleviating the pain and saving her life.
In the aftermath, Suzu survives and is seen alongside Isato and the others, suggesting a potential new beginning. In the original video game narrative, the twins lack a personal ending, but both are portrayed as alive in Hellstinger's ending.
