Description
Sasami Kawai is an ordinary elementary school student living a typical life in Tokyo with her parents. Her father, Ginji Kawai, has diverse skills including SWAT experience and NASA rocket operation certification. Her mother, Honoka Kawai, runs the family CD Vision music store but sometimes neglects duties to play video games.
Tsunami, candidate for queen of the magical realm Juraihelm, chooses Sasami as her earthly representative. Sasami receives a magical baton allowing her to transform into the magical warrior Pretty Sammy, aided by her advisor, the talking cabbit Ryo-Ohki. Initially hesitant, fearing ridicule and disinterest in supernatural powers, Sasami gradually accepts this role, motivated by her inherent protectiveness. Her main enemy is Pixy Misa, later revealed as the transformed state of her shy best friend Misao Amano, who is unknowingly manipulated by the Juraihelm exile Ramia.
