Description
Kiryuu, an enigmatic businessman, recruits three youths entangled in pressing monetary struggles yet careful to conceal their desperation in their applications. He enlists them for the Bus Game—an underground contest pitting teams against each other to either safeguard or seize disks loaded with sensitive corporate data coveted by powerful entities. Kiryuu curates his team through precise criteria: their youth, concealed financial urgency, and the deliberate omission of this vulnerability in their submissions. While the disks’ contents hold tangible stakes for external factions, Kiryuu’s veiled intentions for orchestrating their involvement hint at a personal fascination with the game’s dynamics, treating the high-stakes clash less as a strategic maneuver than as the thrill of orchestrated chaos. His role lingers in calculated ambiguity, prioritizing the spectacle’s tension over overt disclosure of his stakes.
